Terms of service

These terms cover your shop's use of AssaQuote, the online quoting and invoicing tool at assaquote.com.au. AssaQuote is run by Amir Anees in Australia (ABN 71 374 034 233) ("we", "us"). By signing in and using AssaQuote, you agree to these terms.

1. Your account

• We set up each shop's account personally. There is no public sign-up.
• Each shop's plan includes 2 logins. Extra logins can be arranged.
• Keep your passwords private. You are responsible for what happens under your shop's logins. Tell us straight away if you think a login has been misused.

2. Price and payment

• Your shop's first month is a free trial. If you don't want to continue, tell us before the trial ends and you won't be charged anything.
• AssaQuote costs $39.99 AUD a month per shop after the free month, unless we have agreed a different price with you in writing.
• Fees are charged monthly in advance. If a payment is overdue, we may pause access until it is paid. Your data is kept while access is paused.
• We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change.

3. Cancelling

• You can cancel at any time by calling or emailing us. Access continues until the end of the month you have paid for. We don't refund part months, except where the law requires it.
• Before you cancel, download a backup of your data from Settings, and save any quotes or invoices you need as PDFs.
• After you cancel, we delete your shop's data within 90 days, unless you ask us to keep it longer.

4. Quotes, hours and prices are your responsibility

AssaQuote suggests starting labour and paint hours and guide part prices to save you time. They are estimates only. You are responsible for checking every quote and invoice before you send it, including hours, prices, GST, your ABN and bank details. You are also responsible for meeting your obligations to your customers, insurers and the ATO.

5. Your data

• Your jobs, customers, prices and photos belong to your shop. We only use them to run AssaQuote for you, as set out in our privacy policy.
• You must have the right to enter the information you put into AssaQuote, including your customers' personal details and photos.
• We back up the system, but you should also download your own backups from Settings regularly.

6. Fair use

Use AssaQuote for your shop's own quoting and invoicing. Don't try to access other shops' data, interfere with the service, copy or resell it, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep AssaQuote running at all times, but we can't promise it will never be down or error-free. We may improve or change features over time. If we make a change that significantly reduces what you're paying for, we will tell you first and you can cancel.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. Apart from those rights, and to the extent the law allows:

• we are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost profits, lost jobs or under-quoted work; and
• our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or to supplying the service again.

9. Ending the service

If we ever decide to stop offering AssaQuote, we will give you at least 60 days' notice so you can download your data.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will email you about any important change at least 30 days before it applies. If you keep using AssaQuote after that, the new terms apply.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
